Hi all, started to have a small show on Monday following an internal exam - i'm 39 weeks today. Then lost loads more yesterday and a bit more this morning. Have been having BH for ages, sometimes regular and strong, sometimes not. This is my third baby and with my last two after having a show labour was fairly imminent, within 24 hours I think, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this one.
Just wondering if a show meant labour is coming soon for most people or if it can really still be another week or two?
Just getting a bit impatient here with all these teasing signs...
Thanks for any input Grin

With DS1 I had small show on a monday, then a bit more on examination on the Monday night. Was told I had to stay in hospital and BHed for ages and ages. On the Wednesday I was finally induced as they had got bored of me by then and DS1 born on Thursday early morning.

Didn't have a show with DS. With DD I think it was about a week later that she was born.

Didn't have a show with DC1. With DC2 had a show at 38 weeks, waters broke next day, DC2 born 4 hours later.

24 hours from show to contractions.

Thanks ladies for your experiences. So seems, as I thought, that in most cases the show is a pretty good indicator that labour won't be too far behind. Fingers crossed, am super uncomfortable and would love to get on with things now. Send me positive labourish vibes, won't you.
