How many of you would not have had your children or wouldn;t have anymore if you could only have gas and air during labour??

Obviously labour with intervention that needs additional pain relief not included.

I would have had another, wasn;t a huge issue for me but wondering on the back of another thread whether it would really put most women off of having children.

The only thing in both my birth plans was no epidural.
I ended up having gas and air with DS as no time for pethidine and had DD with no pain relief as there was no time for the midwife to fetch the gas and air.
So, no, it wouldn't put me off. It would put me off more if I was told I had to have an epidural.

Epidural with first - rubbish experience. Gas and air with second - loved that stuff! Would like another with gas and air only again.

had diamorphine/G&A with first, G&A only with second - so would not put me off at all.

I wont be having more atm ( gave birth on the 2nd) due to the use of syntocinon but I found gas and air to be wonderful stuff and would probably have been Ok if I had a normal labour. When the contractions were normal it made me really high.
