Hooray! Had growth scan today and the baby's cephalic! I've been feeling massive movements, but thought that was par for the course - this baby's very active. Did think he or she was transverse yesterday, so perhaps was getting ready to behave for the scan?!

Baby's measuring a tiny bit small, but blood supply's fine through placenta. Is mad the things they can see on scans, isn't it?! Have another scan in a fortnight (and I resisted asking the sex of the baby very, very well I thought!).

Marsy, sounds wonderful - hope DD1's suitably impressed with her pretty bedroom. Glad to hear the DTs are helping you

HSM, I was only just wondering where you were earlier! Was going to post to say I missed you, then thought people would think I was odd, as most are probably sure that you are me. Oh, this cyber world. Good job you all only exist in my head, right?

Baby is, however, back to back, as was DS, so will have to scrub the floors some more, I think [Cinderella emoticon] Would be nice to have a labour I felt somewhere other than my back, I think (I say nice, I mean...different?!).

Twiglett...yes! And then some - eek! (Happy birthday, btw).

Mawbroon, amazing the positions they get themselves into, isn't it?! Congratulations on your supple breechie

PPH...they are talking about not letting me go over 40 weeks, so are all bets off as to who has their baby first? I'm due on 14th January...

As for waddling...I don't waddle, I glide. Ahem Like a duck glides, I suspect

PS - hello, Mears - will no doubt be pestering you for copious amounts of advice over the next couple of weeks! How's your ankle?

Delighted for you Hunker, ds1 was breech and I've never been the same since!
Well done not asking about the sex! Its so tempting when there's someone right there beside you who could give you the answer in two seconds, isn't it?

AwayInAMunker · 06/12/2005 23:28

Absolutely! I just knew that DH would never have forgiven me because there's no way I'd have been able to keep it to myself and he does not want to know!

My dh really did want to know the last time but I was the one who wanted to hold out! Don't think I'd bother asking if I was pg again, don't think I "do" girls!

AwayInAMunker · 06/12/2005 23:36

DH convinced we're having a girl...but is hedging, so won't let me choose a middle name he's not that keen on for a boy, just in case

I was so sure DS was a boy - but this time I have no clue at all - it's quite odd, but I'm loving the suspense!

My ankle is still flippin' sore. I have an appointment in Jan at ortho clinic.

Have you got a gym ball? If not, get one and sit on it whenever you can. You can get them in Argos. Helps baby get in goodposition.

harpsiheraldangelssing · 08/12/2005 12:42

hooray!
now get on your hands and knees girly and stay there!

Well done Hunker! That must be a huge weight off your mind. And a huge one on your bladder.

You may be deluding yourself that you glide.....!
