Been watching this thread with interest as anterior placenta and mw just confirmed at my 28 week check that this one is breechSad. He's also my fourth and after horrific emcs experience of ds1 I am desperate to avoid another section. She said there was plenty of time to turn but none of my others have been breech. This is the news I was dreading. Feeling sad...

Ooh exciting. Tell me did you do anything to get her turned? I've been reading about lying on ironing boards upside-down with frozen peas against his head.

i went swimming and floating on yummy for ages,i did go on all fours -but didnt do it everyday-and hubby did put cold bottle out of fridge on my tummy recently-have no idea if it was due to these things.....lol-i have felt rough past few days and was sick alot -she did do some crazy movements at night past few days so presuming that was when she moved x

Just saw consultant today. Says 20% are breech at 28 weeks but only 3 end up breech in the end. Still going to hang off the sofa though

Hi all,

I had ECV this morning (at 37+6 weeks) and baby has turned - so if anyone is reading this in a similar situation, don't despair!

The two Drs and the nurse who did the procedure were excellent, and although it was uncomfortable it was most definitely worth it. The baby did not appear to be distressed at any point - his / her heart rate was normal mid way through the procedure and immediately afterwards.

We'd best go and buy that birth pool liner now then!
