36 weeks with transverse dc2. yesterday I felt very sick, constant burping, had loads of very painful movement and day ended with copious amounts of vomiting. Today feel much better and bump feels different; softer, higher, more central under ribs. Do you think baby has moved and that was the cause of yesterdays unusual (for me) symptoms? My mw is on leave at the mo and I am keen to know as would be so relieved. Thanks a lot in advance.

Sounds like a bug tbh but the muscle effort from vomiting might have shifted the baby as a side effect (bet you ache a bit today, yes?).

My friend vomited when her dd turned from breech to ceph but it was a one off, no nausea before or after. She was 36 weeks and the baby was large and it just aggravated her stomach momentarily. Looked pretty odd too, her stomach contorted madly.

Is the baby moving ok today? Have the movements changed? Kicks predominantly in a different place?

Hello Showy Smile

I do ache today, tis true. Baby is moving much less today but still enough that I am not worried. Seeing mw next week to feel and maybe scan but so keen for it to turn (is also looking like a very big baby from 34 weeks scan). Fingers crossed anyway. I am mainly relieved I feel better today

Oh I'm glad you feel better. Being sick when pregnant is miserable and everything just aches so much afterwards. If the baby has moved then you can expect a change in the pattern of movement, particularly when engaged/head down compared to transverse. But and it's a big BUT if you are at all worried then see somebody immediately of course.
