Goodness knows why, but we are starting to think about DC3. However, I am very fearful of late pregnancy and the birth and was wondering on what grounds the NHS would allow a C-section?
DS1 (2.5 years ago) born at 42 weeks, was a 40 hour labour, failed epidural, taken to theatre for spinal for pain relief, vontouse. 9lb10oz.
DS2 (10 months ago) - terrible SPD, bump so large for the last month I was immobile, born at 42 weeks, 20 hour labour, vontouse in theatre. 9lb 7oz.
I am 5 ft 4 - I clearly have big babies and they like to go full term! Given that I will have two active boys when pregnant, I am interested to know - would the NHS agree to an ECS (I am assuming not, but need to get my head around my immobility in pregnacy, long labours and really like the idea of booking a date at 38 weeks, whilst having all childcare arrangements in place!).
I am BU, aren't I?
