Where is good to give birth in Nottingham?

I'm attending my uncle's wedding 3 weeks before my EDD. DS was two weeks early, and my MW seems confident that I won't go to term again.

Sod's Law dictates that I'll go into labour in spectacular fashion at the wedding, and I want to be prepared. I'm not overly sure where the wedding is exactly, but I've a feeling it's fairly central.

TIA

Both Queens Medical Centre and City Hospital have good reputations, so maybe whichever is closest to the wedding?

Thanks, I'll find out whichever is closest Smile

Nottingham City Hospital is on the north edge of Nottingham, Queens Medical Centre is on the southern edge. From centre of Nottingham, QMC is probably easier. QMC has Nottingham's A&E department, so you should be able to just follow signs for A&E if you're in the area. If you're north of Nottingham, then I'd avoid King's Mill Hospital in Mansfield and go to Nottingham City instead!

EVeryone I know gave birth at City.
It's got excellent facilities.

It does depend what side of town you're on for convenience, though.

Queen's for Wollaton, beeston, lenton, radford,
City for sherwood, carlton, gedling, basford (old and new), woodthorpe, mapperley,

Queen's for West Bridgford too.
