Anyone any experience of haemorrhaging on a home birth?

I am soon due my 2nd dc - and desperately want a home birth. I did PPH with my 1st, but wonder what would happen if this occurred at home?

Anyone with any experience of this?

TIA

thanks loopy will bear that in mind.

silly congratulations once more. feeling ok? not sure it is an old wives tale or not but ate iron rich food anyway after birth to feel less drained (cheese and spinach sandwiches, which i like anyway..)

EggyAllenPoe feeling fab thanks :)

I had been anaemic in this pg since 20 weeks so had been taking Spatone and Pregaday (from GP). I actually had a higher Hb immediately after the birth than at 28 wks!!

Whilst the consultants and GP slated Spatone the m/ws in hosp put a lot of praise to it.

I was doing the weekly food shop within 24hrs (ahem!).

I have been advised to use up the spatone and pregaday - so am doing this just as a helping hand.
