Ring the antenatal dept of your hospital and ask their advice. They may want you to come in to be examined and monitored.

Trust your instincts!

The best thing would be to phone your midwife or go to your local birthing centre so they can have a look. I had to do the same when i was preg and didn't feel movements they were lovely and reassuring and never made me feel neurotic which i was Grin

Hope every thing works out Smile

I was in yesterday. They said i was contracting but not dilating.....
they wanted to keep me in but after they told me there was nothing they could do we decided its best i came home and monitored it myself. Like you Happymole i feel bad for going in...feel like ive been in loads. They told me i have a irritable uterus, what does this mean? does it mean i will go into labour early (have googled it and thats all i'm getting) baby is right down according to the MW yesterday but not engaged.
Had diarhea again this morning.....

I'd stay at home but keep going back to the Day Assessment Unit for monitoring just in case. And go in straight away if you think your waters might have broken or movements slow down.

I had an irritable uterus. Matched the rest of me then Grin. Never found out what it meant though. If anything changes - pain increases, diarhoea worsens, discharge, temperature, more movement, less movement, you feel more "off" than you are right now, etc, call the labour ward. They are open 24 hours a day and will tell you whether you need to come in. If it's at night, don;t wait until the morning. Just call. I waited until morning and it all turned out to be fine, but I really got told off for not phoning when the pains had been particularly bad in the middle of the night. Good luck X

I haven't seen your original thread but Braxton Hicks? They can be quite strong IME.
