I split one of my csection stitches

It's open and looks a bit gross :( It's oozing a bit- it's a tiny split though, only about a couple of milimetres, but I'm terrified of it splitting more. It feels a bit tight along the scar.

Should I do anything?

Because it came open at the first end before they had finished the far end and the wound was oozing all night.

I had a bit of about 0.5 to 1 cm opened up after about 6 weeks and oozed a bit of brownish stuff and a lot of strawish stuff, I found it quite alarming, but when I showed my GP at my checkup, she was not the least bit concerned about it. Always get it checked out, but don't panic.

Thanks, I will get it checked out this week.

Also, did any of you get a hardish area over the top? I've got it on the other side - it's gone down a bit today but I'm thinking it could be inflammation of some sort. I was worried it was permanent (dont start me on csection overhang!)

Has the midwife checked it already? What did she say? Is it still ozzing?

Errr, OOZING, even... I don't know what "ozzing" could be, some strange Australian activity maybe...
