Has anyone had a membrane sweep?

I will have my membrane swept this week. So, i wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this to see if this speeds things up.

Is it too uncomfortable?

Does it last for too long?

What's strange Paula? That you're having no signs of labour? 6 days over isn't that far. Some take longer than others to cook babies. If you were in France you'd not be overdue until 42 weeks!

Definitely phone and ask if they can just book the induction in if that's what you want, perhaps the weight off your mind of knowing that's all in place will be enough to relax you into labour anyway

You may be right, thinking about it might stop me from getting into labour...
