Have obviously namechanged for this. I'm not normally one to be embarrassed, but this problem is BEYOND embarrassing.

I gave birth just over four months ago, had a very quick labour with a ventouse and episiotomy. A few days after labour, I realised I had piles. Nothing too extreme and they cleared up on their own with time (and cream)

Everything seems to be back to normal, sex has resumed and is fine, as seems to be my bum.

Except its not :( after erm, pooing, I wipe until I'm spotless and yet I seem to always have skid marks. Even after I bath. Am absolutely DYING with shame typing this! Blush

My pelvic floor muscles feel fine, though sometimes I feel like I cant get all the poo out when I'm using the bathroom. I'm quite sure it is poo though, rather than a prolapse?

I remember seeing something similar a few series back in Embarrassing Bodies, if anyone can remember? I've tried googling it, but no luck...

Thank you ladies. I may not reply quite as quickly as I would normally, as I MUST remember to namechange first!!! (REMINDER TO SELF!!!)

You poor thing.

It's called a Rectocele.

If you want this horrid thing gone forever, you need to go to your GP to get a referral to a specialist and with a minor op.

For the Embarrasing Bodies episode see here but don't click unless you are happy to see a bum close up!

Hope you manage to get all sorted.

Don't panic - you can get these symptoms if you're constipated. Best to see your GP. (No need to be embarrased - he/she will have seen plenty of bums Smile)

Agree - see your GP.

I've got this symptom and have had a rectocele. It's not very glamorous. But it is treatable.

I'm seeing a uro-gynae physiotherapist and she's worked wonders. Not totally - I think I may still need an op, but things are so much better. Do do DO go to your GP and get some help.
