MW thinks the baby may be slightly OP, but couldn't be sure

I have a HB planned, which has taken quite a lot of soul searching to decide. I'm worried that if the baby is OP that this will lead to a long and risky labour.

She thinks this because I have a slight flat dip around my tummy button which is apparently a sign of OP. But I showed her where I thought the feet were (tucked right away on my mid left side) and she couldn't really tell.

Is there a sure fire way to tell? I do have back ache which apparently is a sign. What should I do to make sure the baby is in the right position. I'm 38 weeks, should I be worried?

Second, it's almost worse as I know what is coming. The first time you can delude yourself that it is an empowering, positive experience. I'm not saying it can't, but I certainly didn't find it so. Am trying to be positive this time, and more relaxed. I really must read Ina May, I'll pull it out tonight. But i have been skim reading Child Birth Without Fear, and that has changed how I feel a bit.

I know what you mean, no more rose tinted glasses! The first is always hardest though, right? It's my second too and despite having a shit time last time, I really feel like I'll be alright. I'm nervous of course but I think it'll be fine.

Childbirth Without Fear is great but it's a bit wordy! Hope Ina May does the trick for you.
