Fake eggs, what are they for?

I mean the china and plastic ones. Are they supposed to encourage hens to lay or are they for broody hens?

I think it must have been Nettex as I seem to remember it came in the box with the ground sanitiser. I've got to get some corn at the farm shop at the weekend so I'll see what they have in stock and pick their brains while appearing to make idle conversation Grin. Thanks Strawdolly.

I'd try Flubenvet - AFAIK it's the only wormer that actually kills the worms, I think the others are more preventative. I stand to be corrected on that point, but I use Flube and it works fine.

Some poultry spice might be an idea to give them a wee boost. It's quite possible you'll not get many eggs until springtime now Sad

I've already got some mineral stuff that goes in their mash and cider vinegar in their water. They are fed better than my dcs are Grin.
