it's only got two nesting boxes, I always find that birds are calmer when they have one each,

For small scale chicken keeping I always recommend the plastic coops, as you have a lot less health problems such as red mite, as you can jet wash them,

there are lots out there, these you can add as many nest boxes as you need,

Frankly I've never known more than 2 or 3 of my 15 to want to lay at the same time so I personally feel that 2 nesting boxes would be fine for 4 birds. Size-wise that coop seems fine as well- easier to keep clean than having a very large coop. I do recommend you clean it out at least once a fortnight. Also you will need to move it fairly often to make sure your girls get fresh grass all the time- they like their greens!

PS: you can jet wash wooden coops as well. The advantage of a coop like the eglu is that it is all moulded plastic and has very few nooks and crannies where mites can hide out in the daytime (the disadvantage is that they are extremely expensive for the space you get in them and the run is inadequate in my view). That one you show, quote, would have just as many as a wooden coop.

Birds will take it in turns to lay and just wait until a box becomes vacant. They also seem to like laying in the same box, so the number of boxes isn't always an issue.

That coop looks fine lia66
