If you sell eggs, how much do you charge?

Hi
Our lovely neighbour often gives us some of their surplus eggs, and I'd like to give them some money for them. I can't discuss it with them, as they wouldn't say how much - I know their daughter gives them something (again don't know how much) as she'd buy eggs anyway and I am the same.
So, if you sell eggs would you mind telling me how much you charge for half dozen?
[I was thinking £1 but not sure if that's being too much of a cheapskate - don't want to insult them!]
Thanks!

Thanks again - neighbours really appreciated it. Said they didn't expect it at all, but if I wanted to they would put it in the chicken-feed pot.

Agree with all the above but one of my neighbours that I give eggs to would give me a bunch of dafodils in return 99p in cost but days of value esp at this time of year :-)

we charge £1 too.

we don't see it as a money-making venture - it basically pays for the food and straw.

yes, goods like flowers and veg also good exchange! Grin
