Carsa misold safety recall

Wondering if I can some advice...

I was sold a car from Carsa that they claimed has gone through the a thorough 204 point check and a full HPI clearance however after getting the car, I've come to realise that the car actually has an outstanding safety recall for electrical wiring on it. This recall was prior to Carsa receiving the car. I assume they would've checked and it should've been knowledge to them. They never once told me about the safety recall.
And they aren't responding to my emails.

I know driving a car with a known recall actually invalidates your insurance and you can get points on your license. I know I can it to a dealer for free and get it checked but it's more the fact they sold it dishonestly.

Where do I stand legally?

Take it to a dealer and get it fixed. Cars get recalls all the time.

Thank you. Yes I know I can do this for free :)

I'm just concerned how the car managed to get through all of its checks without this flagging up and not being made aware of it at the same of purchase.

If I'd have known, I wouldn't have bought the car.

The recall work needs to be done by a main dealer and there is often a wait to get the parts if it's a big recall (my Vauxhall Zafira was recalled twice and I had to take it to a Vauxhall dealer but there were a number of weeks between me receiving the recall notice and me actually being able to get the work done because they couldn't get the part).
Carsa is a car supermarket which won't have the ability to do the recall work and their 204 point check would be specific checks on components which wouldn't throw up a recall issue just as an MOT wouldn't throw up a recall issue unless it made something checked as part of the MOT unsafe. I get your annoyance but recalls are something that can easily be checked by anyone by using the MOT check on the government's website (I did it the last time I bought a car).
