Hi all,

We have a Cybex iCloud z rotating child seat we used for my 3yr old so I’m hoping we can use that again for one of our twins and get another for one of our twins.

our 3yr old is now in a joie Elevate car seat.

do you think we could fit two rotating baby seats and a car seat in the back row of some cars? Anyone done that?

we currently have an Audi A6 Avant so we’re looking at getting a Peugeot 5008 7 seater as it has 3 isofix points across the back, but not sure if these specific car seats will fit.

my husband is keen on the Skoda kodiaq but it only has 2 iso fix seats in the back.

any tips from anyone??

You need a car with 3 isofix points as it’ll have 3 full sized seats. For the long term a 7 seater is a good idea so you can accommodate school friends, family etc.

My son was 3 when my twins were born and he sat in the middle between them.

We have a 7 seater and 3 DC but day to day use the middle row for the DC and leave the 2 in the back folded down for a big boot for the pushchair, other mountain of stuff.

We have 3 proper seats in the middle row which meant we could fit 3 car seats in. We had different ages children to you though. Oldest sat in the middle as he could do his own seat belt.

Thanks for your replies!
interested to know if anyone else has had 2x rotating car seats like the Cybex iCloud z along with a standard toddler car seat?

The Elevate is pretty massive, you might want to look into swapping it for something slimmer. What exactly though, I am not sure. I assume your 3yo still needs a 5 point harness?

The Cybex seats will fit, but you probably won't be able to rotate them with another seat in between. So might be a bit of a waste getting a second one. You might want to look into Joie seats which have the belt fitted base for use in the centre seat to give you the outer isofix position for your older child. They fit on the same adapters as Cybex. Their reclining one doesn't fit a belt fitted base, though.

Bear in mind the newest version of the 5008 has a silly small seat in the middle. And the very back rear seats don't allow any car seats to be used on them at all, so they are basically not suitable for children which is a bit of a pain because they are tiny seats which aren't comfortable for adults. They're OK for occasional use, but not every day. TBH we actually preferred the Citroen Berlingo which we rented for a holiday once as a seven seater. The difference with that one is that the third row seats are physically taken in and out, whereas with the 5008 they can be folded down into the boot. We didn't get the Berlingo because we have no garage so nowhere to store the other two seats when not using them.

So has your car got 3 isofix points along the back seats?
