Today he got me to do the most disturbing and disgusting thing

In the last couple of years my husband has not only become disabled but was also diagnosed with cancer. This has been a difficult time for him physically and mentally obviously.

The cancer treatment has often put him in hospital for weeks at a time and his disability means the chemotherapy takes quite a toll on his physical abilities. Such things as being able to wipe himself after going to the toilet during the third round of chemotherapy became impossible for a couple of weeks. I did this for him because I know he would do the same for me so not a problem. Other stuff that is more on going like his hand grip is to weak for him to masturbate I help with if he asks, not exactly an unpleasant task but not what our life together was supposed to be either.

Anyway today he asked me to do the most disgusting and disturbing thing. At lunchtime I asked him what he wanted me to make him. He replied a peanut butter and marmalade sandwich toasted!!!!!

Yes I made the gross thing but quite frankly not sure if I can ever see him the same way again. All respect for my husband has gone and he will have a lot of work to do to earn that back.

Sounds rank!

I'm sorry for what you’re going through, I know how tough it is.

professionalcommentreader · 17/08/2026 20:04

I love peanut butter and have it everyday on toast with sliced bananas or use it to dip apple in, marmalade seems weird but I asked AI and it said peanut butter with strawberry jam and a sprinkling of salt is really nice 😂

LaurieFairyCake · 17/08/2026 20:05

Very sorry for what you’re going through Flowers

keep up with the dark humour, would keep me sane too
(my husband is even weirder, he eats peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches)

Now he's drawing you into his perversions 😂

Yes everything I have said is true

My outrage might be a bit exaggerated but my disgust at his sandwich choice and having to make it is totally real

Put it on here because I have learnt in the last couple of years since becoming my husband's carer if you don't laugh a little about this stuff you will cry. Not necessarily about the sandwich but the stuff I said before.

Ignore the ones on here being rude araeholes. Dark humour is oftentimes the only thing that gets you through some fucking awful situations, situations these people are too lucky to comprehend, but some of us on here totally understand.

I hope you can continue to laugh wherever you get the chance ❤️❤️

😂

The order in which he chose to lower my defences obviously proves he is working at a higher level of perversion than I give him credit

Butt wiping

Wanking him off

Peanut butter and marmalade toasties making

AI really is as dangerous as some people say by looks of it, yuck

Why was there even peanut butter in the house?

WishIWasAPanda · 17/08/2026 20:34

Imagine the next circle of depravity he will draw you into next. Obviously LTB 😆

BoogieVoogieAllNightLong · 17/08/2026 20:37

Some years back now, before he thankfully gave the habit up altogether, my DH had peanut butter vape juice. 😫

That almost ended in divorce because he resisted my efforts to banish it first to the bin and then failing that, the bottom of the garden!

GreenFootstool · 17/08/2026 20:42

Oh god @BoogieVoogieAllNightLong that sounds horrific!! I barely tolerate DHs banana vape and his beard constantly smelling like those foam banana sweets 😂

BoogieVoogieAllNightLong · 17/08/2026 20:46

Horrific isn't a strong enough word. I'd choose "demonic"

I understood and laughed when I got to the punchline.

It was bad enough before I got to "toasted". The man is a heathen.

You sound like a very loving and supportive partner.

SquirrelGG · 17/08/2026 20:58

You are so brave, I'm not sure I could force myself to put peanut butter and marmalade together for anyone 😀

It’s just like an American peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Nice combination of salty and sweet. As a plus, peanut butter has protein and jam or jelly has sugar for energy. As long as he doesn’t demand that you eat, I say, be brave and crack on.

maxslice · 17/08/2026 21:12

Crispy bacon is great in a peanut butter sandwich!

Summertimesadnessishere · 17/08/2026 22:21

I must be the weirdo as I clicked on this wondering what on earth it could be with morbid curiosity and now am fairly relieved. Although I too, did laugh at the peanut butter and marmalade! I cannot imagine what you must be going through my love. Hang in there. And ignore the dick for brains earlier in the thread who seem to have a sense of humour failure. You are doing just great.

OldJohn · 18/08/2026 11:18

Thanks for sharing this and I'll give my lighthearted response. I care for my wife and humour is essential.
The OP gave three examples of caring.

  1. Bum wiping: I do this as often as she needs me to. not always easy at 3 in the morning.
  2. Maturbation: I've not tried but I wonder if this exercise would help strengthen her hards.
  3. Toasted peanut butter sandwich. I often eat a peanut butter sandwich when my DW says she does not want to eat. I don't cook for myself as I think that would be unfair when she is feeling unwell. The idea of a toasted peanut butter sandwich excites me. I really must try one very soon 😀

@Neverstopwondering
I have now tried peanut butter and marmelade on toast. I have naice marmelade so it hides the taste of the peanut butter a bit. I also prefer crunchy peanut butter so dont know if that makes a difference.
Its perfectly edible.
Tell your dh cheers for that tip!

omghereistrouble · Today 15:14

jam or jelly is quite common with peanut butter is quite usual in USA. its quite delicious. marmalade is only really a sort of jam
