Looking for some information from highly knowledgeable MN folks.
My cousin claims CA for their elderly GP, has done since Nov17, he is self employed so originally had to provide accounts etc, all was fine. He's now had a letter saying he needs to resend 17/18 accounts and that he never returned a signed declaration with original claim?! He is 100% sure he did and if he didn't why was the claim awarded? Looking at his 16/18 accounts as a whole year he is over the threshold but in the time since he became a cater to his GP his income has dropped below the threshold;will this be considered or do they only look at an annual amount?
Struggling for any information online.

Carers is awarded on a weekly bases so it isn't about what you earn on average. If you earn over the threshold amount on any given week you aren't eligible for the benefit.

Thank you for replying.
He's had conflicting information from several phone calls; one said send yearly accounts the other monthly income/expenses.
