Car seat dilemma

Hi everyone , just after some advice really. My little one will be 3 in September but he is a very tall boy and will soon be maxing out in his 105cm limit for his britax romer seat which is usually ok til around 4 years of age (his eyes are nearly in line with the sides which is when they advise to change it). He has global developmental delay and therefore we have to lift him in and out the car and so I was wondering if there is a car seat that allows for rotation but will last us ? I did ideally want to keep him rear facing but the only one I’ve managed to find that allows for this is the be safe stretch but this doesn’t rotate and so I think we would struggle getting him in and out! Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated as trying to look online at these things and decide can be difficult when you’ve got a child with additional needs. Thanks 😊

Have you looked at the besafe beyond 360? It’s relatively new (I don’t have it, just heard of it) and I think it rotates and goes up to 125cm in height.
I believe it’s pricey though as you buy the base separate from the seat but I don’t know of any others as all the extended rear facing tend to stop rotating after 105cm.

I should add that I have both a rotating seat and a fixed seat and you do get used to the fixed one but I understand with GDD it will make it harder for you.

Did you want him to rear face or forward face? If it's rearfacing, the Avionaut Stardust also spins up to 21kg or 125cm, but the FF limit is 105 with the harness.

Besafe Beyond or Avionaut Stardust will allow you to continue rear facing and swivel up to 125cm.

They are not cheap though, unfortunately. You could look into special needs restraints, these are even more expensive, but tend to keep the swivel function for much longer. If you think it is likely he will always need a full harness either for postural support or behavioural reasons, it might be worth looking at funding for the SEN restraints now.

I know some of these swivel, and some rear face beyond the 105cm limit, I am not sure if any of them do both:
