Hi. Looking for a car seat for my 2019 Ford Kuga with iso fix. It will be for my granddaughter who is currently 4 months and weighs approx 15lb and is almost grown out of 3-6 month clothes.

Can anyone tell me, will this one be any good?
My Babiie i-Size 360° Spin Baby Car Seat – Support Leg, ISOFIX, Birth to 12yrs (40-150cm), R129, ERF, Group 0+/1/2/3, Rotating 360 Swivel, MBCSSPIN - Black Geo
Many thanks in advance!
PS, I really want the 360 spin style.

The MyBabiie one is a pain to use IMO and not well designed.

I would look at the Joie 360 Spin or Graco Turn2Me i-size as these are good prices - both about £130 from Halfords. If you buy it in store, they will usually fit it for you as well.

The only issue with these seats is that with her growth centiles at the moment, it might be that she is growing out of them by around 3 and a half, which is too early really to move to a high back booster seat. But she is so little now and babies can change centiles - it will certainly work for her for the next few years, and it has the 360 spin as you like.

Although these seats don't go all the way up to age 12 that is a false economy anyway. Stick to seats which cover the baby and toddler stage and you can look at where she is when she is getting close to the limit on them.

Thank you. I'm happy to go up to around £200.

We’ve had our grandchildren’s Joie 360s in our ford kuga a few times and seem to fit well.

I would join one of the car seat safety groups on Facebook and ask for advice on there.
Some seats are much safer than others.

Those are still probably the best rotating seats under £200 at the moment, IMO Smile

If you can go a bit over £200, John Lewis and Mamas & Papas both have offers on the Cybex Sirona Gi i-size for around £220, which has a slightly higher weight limit but otherwise is similar to the Joie and Graco seats.

You could also look at Britax Safe Way M which is an extended rear facing seat suitable from around 3 months to roughly 7 years (it might be more like 5-6 years if LO stays on higher centiles, but that's still good)

Reduced in the pink to £169 for example (Or Max Safe Pro for £200 in black): https://littlepeas.co.uk/product/britax-romer-safe-way-m-car-seat

That one is not rotating, but it will last you much longer.
