Swivel /360 car seat for car WITHOUT isofix??

Does anyone know of a swivel/rotating car seat suitable for my 9month old that goes in the car using the seatbelt to attach instead of isofix?? Is this a thing? My car has no isofix! I’ve tried looking and can’t find anything so that may be my answer but thought I’d ask.
Thank you

Maxi-Cosi Axiss is what you want - they're great.

no I don't think there is. I thought all swivel seats were isofix.

Also most (all?) swivel seats have an 18kg weight limit, but you can get belt fitted RF seats for a similar price but which last until 25-36kg, meaning that you can go straight from that to a high back booster.

This only forward faces which really wouldn’t be the safest for a 9 month old.
I think there’s one which using the top tether, but you have to disconnect this every time you want to turn the seat, which must be such a faff.
A second a PP who has suggested an ERF seat which uses lower tethers. Really easy to fit, rock solid and a much safer way to travel up until safe booster age. Lots with a weight limit of 25kg, and some with longer shells up to 36kg.

Hi OP, unfortunately no, not for a 9 month old.

There are a few models of cheaper type spin seats which have a belt fitting option. Unfortunately the safety rating on them is not good, and in the rear facing mode (which a 9 month old really ought to be in) they have the belt wrapped around the back of the seat to provide essential support, so the seat will not spin. Some of these seats can be fitted in forward facing mode without the belt impeding the seat but a lot of them the belt stops the seat from spinning even in forward facing mode.

It might be possible to unhook and rehook the seatbelt when you spin the seat - Nania Revo (no longer sold) suggests this in their manual, although TBH it looks very annoying. However, again, unfortunately the crash test of the Nania Revo was not good. It was apparently reasonable in rear facing mode, but this can only be used up to 13kg. The chance of injury was high in forward facing mode when tested by ADAC (who supply Which? etc). This is what we see again and again in the more budget type seats.

To be honest I really wouldn't recommend the cheaper spin seats for a variety of reasons. You are better off getting the best belt fitted seat you can afford and doing a fit test in your car to see how easy the seat is to access without spin.

As someone else has mentioned, Maxi Cosi Axiss is a seatbelt fit rotating seat, but it's only forward facing. Compared to other forward facing seats, it has a good safety rating, and it can legally be used from 9kg which your baby might be at 9 months, but I wouldn't personally consider it for a 9 month old. Children need to be rear facing at least until 15 months but ideally longer than this. If you are going to forward face anyway, then it's probably a better option than other seats, but it is strongly recommended to rear face still. Even the most basic rear facing seat performs better than the best forward facing seat for safety, this is true for the whole of the Group 1 stage (9-18kg/up to 4 years approx) but the difference between RF and FF is bigger the younger your baby is. This is why seats conforming to the newer regulation only allow forward facing from a minimum of 15 months.

Top tether will not work here as cars generally only have top tether points if they have isofix points. It's not normally used in conjunction with seatbelt in the European regulation.
