Infababy Safe Plus vs Cosatto Skippa Fix?

Hi I have a conundrum!

Which one of these would you go for? Would you pay the extra £50 for the Cosatto? I've never heard of infababy and the website reminds me of 'Wish' BUT this very car seat did win a LovedbyParents 2018 award? 🤷🏼‍♀️😬

Would I be paying £50 just for the Unicorn print??

Thoughts appreciated! Thanks guys

To clarify - It was the Infababy which won the LBP 2018 Award and I did check to make sure it was true - it is.

They're two different types of seats though. The first is a group 1 harnessed to 18kg seat which then converts to a high back booster. The second is a high back booster which restrains the child using the car seat belt. So which one is best will largely depend on how old your child is and how much they weigh?

I wouldn't be swayed by a parenting award or the print if it was me TBH. I'd be looking at safety ratings from crash tests.

@teaandbiscuitsforme Thanks. Which one is Group 1 to 18kg please? They both say that they're suitable to 12yrs?

I’ve found this FB group really informative with any car seat questions, they are very savvy with their safety test knowledge, too. From what I recall, Cosatto have a pretty crap safety record!

The infababy is harnessed to 18kg then it converts to a high back booster. The Cosatto is just a high back booster. Like I said, it depends how old your child is and what they weigh.
