Joie Every Stage/ Stages safety info?

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the safety test results for the Joie Every Stage? For either the Fx or non Fx model?

It looks like a great car seat and is recommended over and over again but I can't find it on any of the ADAC tests or any conclusive data on any crash tests. I've checked the Which report, which marked it as a Don't Buy but like some other users have said, they have a bias towards Isofix as there's no risk of installing it incorrectly and also marked it down due to the low score as a forward facing group 1, which I doubt parents would opt for as it can be a rear facing group 1

Any extra info on it's safety would be great! Thanks

If you join the Facebook group 'car seat advice uk' and search for posts, there should be lots of information about the Every Stage there.

The few things I know...

It scores really badly forward facing when the child is harnesses, ok as a high back booster. But as you say rear facing is clearly safer but it really should never be used forward facing.

There can be issues fitting it when it's fully extended rear facing so you need to have it installed by an expert (independent rather than high street is best) and have them check it fits when fully extended.

As with all the Joie rear facing seats, it is only harnessed to 18kg so it's not the all through seat that people think they're buying if their child is taller or heavier than average. A lot of children outgrow it by height or weight before they are old enough to use it as a high back booster so parents then have to buy another seat anyway.

So basically it's a good rear facing seat at a reasonable price if it fits your car. 'Better' options that would last you longer harnessed would be the 25kg seats such as the Britax Two Way Elite or the Axkid Minikid. You would need a HBB after those seats but a good HBB doesn't need to cost very much.
