Anyone got a Babystart Revo???

Looking to buy a swivel seat for my DD and found a great deal (£99 instead of £200) for the new Babystart Revo. Not only does it swivel, it can go front or rear facing.
However, I can't find any reviews. Has anyone got one or know anything about them???
Thanks.

This seat? On the Argos website it has a Nania badge on it, therefore I would not touch it with a bargepole. There is no way this seat is worth £200. It doesn't say what the rear facing limit is, it won't be 18kgs. At best it would be 13kgs but may only be 10.

For £99.99 I would buy a Britax First Class www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9103771.htm

It doesn't swivel, but would be a much safer choice than the Babystart seat. You can use the First Class rear facing until 13kgs, which if you have a petite child like my DD2 could be quite a long time (she's 11.5Kgs and will be 3 in four weeks time). I use my First Class rear facing for her still.

Babystart is made by the same company as Nania and Team Tex. They are very basic poor quality seats that only just scape through the safety tests (one seat failed terribly and the harness tore right through the seat shell!). I'm pretty certain on the seat you mentioned the rf option is only up until 13kg then it needs turning forwards.

The plastic on these seats look very flimsy and the fabric looks and feels cheap and offers very little padding or comfort. For a 'from birth' seat there looks to be very little (if any) support in that seat and the straps are those awkward individual adjust ones r which will be a total pain in the arse, fiddly and in my opinion have a higher potential of being adjusted wrongly than the simple one pull harnesses most other seats use.

If you are after an erf seat then the swivel function really isn't necessary as it is very easy to get dc in and out of a rf seat (much easier than a ff one). If you are on a budget then look at the Joie ones (can't remember the models right now) they are mentioned lots on here for being a good erf seat for those on a tighter budget.

Thanks all. I have pelvic problems, hence why I'm looking at swivel seats. This is my 3rd child and we had britax before and had problems with it, so not keen to go there again.
Just looking at the options and the hundreds of reviews - alla bit overwhelming, especially with the new law.
