What ERF seats can be both ISOFIX or belted til 18/25kgs?

I can only seem to find ISOFIX ones that can also be belted until 13kgs.

My husband is in the process of buying a new van (probably Renault Trafic or Vauxhall Vivaro) and we need something that can be belted in there and preferably ISOFIX in my Nissan Note and in my parents' Astra.

Or am I going to have to buy a main ISOFIX one for my car (maybe Britx Max Fix II or BeSafe IZi Combi) and a belted one for occasional use in the van? Then either could also be used for occasional use in my parents' car.

Gaaaah this is much worse than pushchair shopping!

Klippan seats have both options. Kiss 2 is erf only birth to 18kg. Great if you might have another baby. Triofix recline is 9-18kg harnessed and then converts to a booster. Both are isofix or seat belt. I have both of these seats currently rear facing in my polo so they are compact sized.

Isofix is only suitable for up to 18kg so ERF to 25kg are belt fitted. As long as the seat is installed correctly belt fitted is just as safe as isofix so no need for 2 seats.

I have the klippan kiss and it's belt fix or isofix but only suitable until 18kg. That said I used it from birth and it's been great. My lo was 6lbs 10oz when born and now a chunky 23lbs or so and has always been comfortable in it. I find it easy to fit either isofix or with seat belt and because it separates into 2 parts it's light for swapping between cars.

Thanks very much both :) (TeaPleaseBob I'm loving your username)

We have a BeSafe iZi Go that we'd probably use for another baby (as it fits onto our buggy) but I'll have a look at both of those.

Thinking about the logistics of it, it might be sensible to have two seats, but we definitely can't afford two Klippans, so I'm off to try and find the cheapest belted ERF. Actually I suppose in that case we don't need a seat that does both ISOFIX and belted. Oh FFS.

We tried the Joie iAnchor today (it's iSOFiX and belted), which seemed like a good, solid, easy-to-fit option, but there aren't many reviews if it around.

We've also been looking at the BeSafe iZi Plus, which is rearfacing from 0-25kgs, belted only - does anyone know how easy this is to fit, and how secure it feels?

Yes I think they can't include isofix on seats which go over 18kg harnessed at all, because of the danger that parents may assume isofix is sufficient after 18kg as well. You can buy isofix booster seats, but that's because they're also belted when the child is in the seat and it's more to stop it flying around the car when not in use.
