Best stage 2/3 isofix seat

I'm swamped by the amount of information out there and a visit to kiddicare to look at seats has left me more confused.

I want a forward facing, isofix connection group 2 seat. In an ideal world i'd want to retain a five point harness but i understand that the only one for that weight is a britax model that isnt isofix.

In kiddicare i think i was shown maxi cosi, recaro and britax i think. But the guy started telling dh about recaro making seats like f1 and speakers in headrests which i'm not interested in. What's best?

Dd is 16kg and not grown taller than the seat so I have a bit of leeway to wait but I'd like to be a bit more clued up. Anyone?

He can stay in his current seat until he is 18kg or until his eyes are level with the back of the seat. The britax one you are talking about only harness until 18kg anyway. I would wait until he is bigger.

Another option is a seat with a impact cushion like this seat but again you stop using the impact cushion at 18kg.
I would look to seat if the seat will extends to it full height in your car as they are all a bit different.

Sorry i think ive been confusing. Shes currently in a maxicosi priorifix. Because shes 16kg i know she is ok for a while but i'm trying to think about stage 2 now so im ready to buy it rather than risk her outgrowing the seat.

We've just bought the Britax Kidfix and we are very pleased. Previously we used the Priorifix and I was determined to keep with Isofix as it just can't be knocked out of position when getting in and out of the car.

Ive got a zafira and only 2dcs so width doesnt worry me.

Off to check out the recommendations thank you. I think i can trust her, im glad shes got a bit longer in the seat because ive been explaining she cant fidget about lean in and out etc or fiddle with the buckle. I think she understands because she said yesterday 'daddy im not tight enough in my carseat' i had so much praise that she told us.

The britax kidfix/sict are very good. They keep the side protection all the way to the top. I got mine from in car safety milton keynes. Delivery is always reliable and is next day. Would recommend these guys to anyone.
