I can't find the manufacture/expiry date on Maxi Cosi Priori. Does anyone have any idea where to find it?

One my tobi it said in instructions 6 years from when I bought it. It can be some circle things with numbers on. Think its three circles

Thanks, after much googling, I found it! It was right under the covers though so not very easy to spot.

really under the covers, front or back? shall have a look at one of ours, tho i think its still fine as we had to replace all carseats when they were stolen out of our car!

The date dials are just under the lowest shoulder strap holes, on the front of the seat. It took me ages to find!

Re stolen carseats. Are they really so expensive that people need to steal them?!

i dont know but whoever stole ours was also a skinflint as they put a hole in our pertrol tank and syphoned out the petrol, there wasnt even much in it, bu tthe cost of replacing hte fuel tank meant it wasnt worth saving the car!

AND as the carseats coutn as a 'removable valuable' our insurers refused to pay out for them!! Angry we had 4 carseats taken, at £150 each thats a lot of money!

and thanks mogs0 shall have a look there when dp gets home from work, they are in the car which he has with him at the moment!

How utterly maddening! Can't believe the seats weren't covered by unsurance...it never occurred to me to check. I'm considering buying a multimac and read that I'd need to inform my insurance company as they are so expensive so if it needed replacing I'd be covered.

yes our new insurance covers the seats, you need to check, in a crash they are covered by most insurance but not for theft as they are a 'removable valuable' WHO takes the carseats out of the car every time they use them, i mean if you go shopping you cant take them out and carry them around with you?! stupid rule i think so we made sure our new insurance has them covered as they are expensive!
