Need a car seat which is easy to move between cars

We will soon need to get dd another car seat (she is 8mo).

Once I'm back to work she will regularly travel in my car, my mums car and MILs car. I'm not sure whether to get one car seat for my car and another for dm/mil to share between their cars, a separate seat for each or one seat with 3 isofix bases for the 3 cars or one seat for all of us to share.

Are there any cars seats that are really simple to put in and out with the seatbelt (bearing in mind dm/mil are a bit lousy at this type of thing and I would never forgive myself if they were in an accident and they had failed to put the seat in properly)? Maybe the isofix is the way to go?

Any advice or suggestions please

nicm maybe I should have been more clear - dd won't actually use it until she's nearer 10/11 mo - not sure if that's too young for front facing. I'll look into the elite thanks Grin

I have the britax duo it depends on the car how easy it is to fit. If yo can see the issofix in your car it is easy and the tether if you can't it can be harder. You get guides that fit in the car. I expect you base has them. I think if you phone britax you may be able to get a set for each car. They could leave the guides in their car as they don't get in the way of other passengers. I have arthritis and manage to move ours all the time. I sometimes have trouble getting the tether unhooked to take it out.

reastie - the top tether is fine to fit, it slots into the top of the seat then hooks into the boot (you'll have a top tether point) When you first fit it it'll take about 10 mins to get in, but once its attached to the seat it stays there. when it goes in the other cars the strap will stay attatched to the seat and it can hang over the back of the seat out of the way (but not attached to anything) or it can roll up and stay at the back of the duo tucked away. (i hope im making sense, trying to write my training guide as well as this and my head is going gaga!) and well done for being organised! I have sooo many people come in who leave it till last min!

Defo think the duo is the way to go!
