Does anyone know what the current Which Best Buy car seat from 9 months is?

I have just been looking at this as will need a Group 1 seat soon.
Kiddy Infinitypro gets 78%, maxi cosi priorifix 75%, maxi cosi pearl 74% and are all best buys.
I looked at the Infinitypro on youtube and decided against as looked a bit of a nightmare to get child in if they are resisting! Decided on the priorifix.
Hope this helps.

Just bought a Maxi Cosi Tobi from Boots. They are having a sale and we used a voucher code (from moneysupermarket), so it only cost us £122, then we got 1904 boots points from that (worth £19). Brilliant, as it is a really good seat (fantastic reviews, Which safest seatbelt seat) and usually costs about £140.

have you thought about a group 1 rear facing seat? they are much safer and are about the same price as the priorifix-the one i had decided on before i heard about rf. have a look on www.rearfacing.co.uk for more info.

:)

mummango having kept DS2 in his group 0 for as long as possible we've just changed him into a RF Britax Two Way Elite at 18 months. It was the same price as the Maxi Cosi Tobi we had for DS1 at the same age but should last him longer and he's perfectly happy rear facing. The Two Way Elite (as the name suggests) can go rear or forward facing (rear is obviously much, much safer) and unlike some of the other rear facing models it's not at all bulky and was eally easy to install.

We got ours on the web from here. They were very helpful.

I've got an infinity pro and DS is usually happy to go in though we have had resistance at times, usually if he is tired or generally moody! At first it was a struggle as he'd kick the cushion bit and it took two people, one to hold him down and the other to get the seatbelt routed round, but now I can do it by myself and it's really easy. You have the plus point that once he is in it, he can't wriggle his arms out in a rage as there are no straps - he can't reach the seatbelt button at all, so it's great for safety from that point of view.

And before you think I sound horrible, he's always fine as soon as the car starts moving!

I think it's a fantastic seat, would really recommend it if you don't decide to go for a rear facing one.

I'd second all those who commented on rearfacing - the safety stats were enough to convince me :) 5 times safer :) Tis up to us to spread the word about these seats. Despite all the Dr's and medical advice the government are not picking up on the message about this vital safety issue, so well done everyone for spreading the news :) Keep them rearfacing as long as you possibly can (I fully intend to keep my LO RF until he's 4 :) :) )Hope this helps :)
