Am I being an over worried mum?

So my little girl has just turned 3.. she is pretty prone to illnesses and regularly has some sort of cold or bad chest.

recently she's had another cold again..
but I noticed this time her tonsils are huge and swollen in her throat but she's not complaining of a sore throat..

she's been randomly complaining that her limbs hurt.. she wakes up crying at night with a pain in an arm or a leg and she'll randomly stop what she's doing in the day getting upset saying her leg hurts..
she's had really sore private bits with a bad rash that has gotten better now with treatment.
she's also been itching her skin like crazy and the last day or so has had a blood shot eye that's just getting worse and worse.

i have taken her to the doctors who gave her antibiotics for her throat.

she seems pretty ok in herself most days.. but so many of these signs are ringing alarm bells thinking of leukaemia..

has anyone else's children experienced symptoms like this?
should I take her back to the doctors and ask for a blood test?

any advice appreciated x

Is she tired? I think that as well would definitely warrant blood tests. I'd probably push for them anyway. But I suspect she's just very run down.

Under 7s do not have a fully functioning immune system. They will get ill frequently to develop it.

Blood tests are not a minor thing to a child this young. They are traumatic and distressing and should only be used when they are clinically necessary.

If the Drs have not requested them, then they do not think it is clinically necessary.

It is vital that parents do not assuage their own anxiety by putting their child through painful procedures.

GPs are not infallible. You can get very effective numbing cream to apply prior to blood tests. If enough signs are there then yes, it's worth going back and raising it again.

She actually had a blood test done over a year ago and had some numbing gel and watched their little IPad thing and was totally unphased.

she's a very happy strong girl and it does take a lot to get her down, even when she's been very ill before, she'll always try to carry on playing around, which is why I question stuff more as it's so hard to know with her

She's quite pale with visible bags under her eyes most days, but she's always been a very very active kid and struggles to sit still, even when she's been really ill previously.

But even on school runs in the last week she hasn't wanted to walk and wants me to carry her because she says her leg hurts, which again is really unlike her...

The GP did say if I'm not happy next week that she would refer her for blood tests.

i know GPs know the signs to look for and it's their job too, but you know when as a mum you just have a horrible feeling somethings not right!

maybe it could be my own anxiety but im unsure with all the little signs showing

I'm pretty chilled but there's enough there that I'd be going back for bloods unless she's back to normal with the legs pain this week. Good she's not super tired though.

The leg pains have been going for a couple of weeks now, but in the last week it's random arm pains too, enough to wake her up in the night crying .
then yesterday today with the blood shot eye getting slowly worse.
maybe a bad virus could have these effects but I do think I'll end up going back to request blood next week.

thank you!

Does she have a fever at all? Actually the thing that jumped out at me was Lyme disease. My ds had Lyme when he was maybe 4. We never saw a tick bite (though we live on a farm and there are lots of ticks). He did get a very obvious bullseye rash, but not all do. But he was absolutely exhausted for weeks, like falling asleep randomly on the floor exhausted. And his arms and legs ached.

Without a confirmed tick bite or bullseye rash, it’s hard to differentiate from a normal just bad infection. If it doesn’t clear up in the next week or so, it’s something worth considering.
