Posting here so I can mark a place, which will hopefully help me through.
We found out this week after a sudden trip to A&E, no treatment and a few months to live.
POA’s and will in place. What else do I need to do?
What do I do about my work?

My DF was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma 2 years ago after an A&E visit. Everything moved very quickly so the things I wish we’d done sooner were:
Fight to get him home from hospital as soon as possible if that’s what he wants.
Have all the difficult conversations about funerals, where he wants to die, last wishes now. DF lost the ability to talk about a week from diagnosis & we left it too late.
If you’re not already in contact with them, reach out to McMillan, Marie Currie & The brain tumour Charity. They are amazing support to families not just the patient.
Df’s GP was also amazing at getting stuff organised medically for what he was going to need.

As for work, I got signed off by my GP. They didn’t even question it when I explained I needed some time to deal with everything. Only you can decide if that’s what you need but don’t feel bad if you need time off.

If I can help answer anything please feel free to PM me

I second this around discussions around wants early on. My close friend was diagnosed with lung cancer that had spread to brain on Jan 1st. No treatment and said she had 8wks. She went home briefly to her daughter’s, but she soon started having seizures and soon wasn’t able to have conversations. She passed mid March, 9wks after diagnosis. Friend was admitted to a care home, as she had a lot of care needs and wasn’t able to be cared for at home. This meant her DD’s could just spent quality time with her, and nurses attended to personal needs. It’s a tough time, look after yourself too.
