Small semicircular line on my breast

2 weeks ago I noticed a 3cm curved line on the underside of my breast when I lifted my arm. Sometimes it’s clearer than others, I can’t feel any lump and my arm pit is all normal. Doctor has reffered me to the breast clinic and I have an appointment in two weeks but I can’t stop freaking out! I can’t sleep / eat and I’m struggling with work. Does anyone have similar and were you ok 🤯😩

Mine was a collapsed cyst.

I'm sorry you are so stressed, but I completely understand. Do you mean a puckered, curve of skin? A red mark or something else? How old are you?

A few years ago I was referred in to the 2 week wait breast clinic due to feeling a lump. I was 42. Staff were all lovely. I had a mammogram done. Then an ultrasound. Then eventually a chat with the consultant. I was told that a needle biopsy would also have been done if needed, but I didn't need this and was all clear. To my surprise, the vast majority of the waiting room looked younger than me!

-Take a book/ipad etc because I had to wait at various stages between going into each room.
-Take a bottle of water and some snacks
-I'd previously had a mammogram abroad as routine and was told not to use anti-perspirant as it can affect the images. The aluminum I assume. In the UK though, they never said anything about. I even called to double check, and they said it was fine to use!

I can’t really explain it it’s very strange, I can’t see a indent until I look in the mirror and the GP couldn’t see anything until I stood in front of the mirror and pointed it out to her. It almost looks like a shadow and I can’t feel anything but definitely appears when I raise my arm and disappears with my arm down. I am 44 and no history of breast cancer in the family.
