Daft question - what do you do of an evening when it's just you and oh?

Going camping this weekend, no kids ( )

However, it's suddenly occurred to me I haven't even thought about what we will do in the evenings. Aside drink, clearly

What do you get up to? I'd quite happily read with a decent light, however bf isn't a reading sort. Did debate some cards and will bring some if I can rustle them up...

Pub! I love lying outside the tent reading... your bf could just have a little snooze? If you normally have kids with you, i bet you'll both love just lying around not doing much of anything - bliss!

Mostly we would make the beast with two backs. However this has resulted in DD so now I'm thinking cards - my Dad picked up a cribbage board in a charity shop so we might play that. DP will probably insist on taking the TV & DVD player with him though

I'm hopeful of intelligent conversation but likely to be disappointed

Hope you have a fab time

I'm with JetLi on this one, all that fresh air, no kids, it would be a marathon session, although quietly. Don't want to alert the camping neighbours.

If we didn't have dcs with us we would be able to go for lovely evening walks to country pubs and stroll back in the dark looking at the stars etc. I get itchy feet on summer evenings and wouldn't be thinking about playing cards.

This fantasy obviously relies on a balmy summer evening, not the usual damp and muddy experience that is more usual on our camping holidays.
