Keycamp with a 4 and 5 yr old?

I wonder if any one has had experience of Keycamp in France and their kids' clubs? I'm travelling with a 4 and a 5 yr old, and the clubs are apparently for 5 and over (unless your 4 yr old is of compulsory school age). My youngest won't start school until Sept, but would easily pass for nearly 5 (tall, intelligent, chatty). Could anyone tell me if they actually check the date of birth of children using the clubs? Or could we get away with winging it? He would be sooo disappointed not to be able to attend with his brother.

No dont think they check - you just turn up and book them in but obviously if they are supposed to be a certain age Im guessing they are not insured properly if they are not that age?

I can't imagine that they are insured to take some 4 yr olds and not others. I'd be suprised if insurance policies were that discerning. We postponed our holiday last year by 6 weeks to ensure my youngest reached the age required by Thomson clubs and then they didn't check at all..... grrrr...

Bumping this for you as we're going to a Siblu site in June - would love to get my 4 year old into the club as well! Wonder if anyone else has been able to do this?

It's a few years now - DD is now 12 - but she went to a Keycamp kids' club in France at 4, in the June before she started in Reception (Sept. birthday).

Perhaps their rules have changed, but there was no problem then. I think she was the youngest, but loved it (she went most mornings, more than we intended, but we couldn't keep her away). She was a big, chatty girl, but they knew she was four.

Slightly off the topic, but what is the 'key camp' experience like? Thinking of booking a holiday in France for our family. Are there any Key Camp sites in particular that are great? We have 2 under 5 with u and are happy to go anywhere in France (never been)

thanks!
