Can anyone recommend somewhere to camp in Suffolk/Norfolk?

We are thinking of doing a 1 night trial camp with our 2yo and 4yo next weekend and so are looking for somewhere to stay not too far away! We are in Suffolk, so Suffolk/Norfolk would be ideal. Preferably somewhere good for kids and a nice gentle way to ease us into camping

The Dower House nr Thetford Forest was nice. Perhaps would get more from it in the hot weather as they have a small pool.

The campsite at Banham Zoo is pretty good. Reduced entry fee to the zoo itself, which is just next door (walking distance), and a good pub/chippy across the road. Sunday mornings there is a car boot/market if you like that sort of thing. The campsite itself is spacious, with a small play area for children and good showers/toilets/laundry facilities. here.

Also, www.breckfarm.co.uk is very laid back. Nothing organised for children, but surrounded by woods and has good facilities. Has the added bonus of being able to have a fire in the evening. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

A beautiful campsite in Bungay - really ? My parents live there and can't think where you mean. Only one I can think of is on the Common by the roundabout (which may be beautiful when you get in !)

We loved Kelling Heath - access to steam railway from the site, and the sea is a short stroll away, too.
