I need to find the perfect site - any recommendations?

I am arranging a group camping trip for August bank holiday.

Predictably, everyone has different needs and I am struggling to find a site that satisfies them all. I would be very grateful for any recommmendations. The perfect site will:

Accept groups
Accept dogs and preferably have a dog walking area
Be family friendly
Not have marked pitches (this is proving impossible!)
Have a children's playground
Have very clean loos and showers
Not have a clubhouse, swimming pool etc
Be situated in southern-central England (people are coming from Bristol, London and Southampton)

Thanks in advance.

You could look at Manor Court Farm -- it scores on

Be family friendly
Not have marked pitches
Have very clean loos and showers
Not have a clubhouse, swimming pool etc.
Be situated in southern-central England (people are coming from Bristol, London and Southampton)

It doesn't have a children's playground but does have some rope swings for children.

I don't specifically know their policy on dogs and groups.

Forest holidays in the New Forest?

I was going to say Forest holidays too. If there are loads of you the Roundhills site has a rally field. There's no playground but trees and woods in abudance to build dens in.

I like Rowlands Wait at Bere Regis too.

look at Billing aquadrome. It is a fab site, not marked pitches as such and would seem to suit your requirements. Its just off the M1 just north of Bedford.

Rowlands Wait! That's a blast from the past. This was our first site in our first caravan in 1988. We set up then went for a long walk. When we got back apparently our smoke alarm had been going off for 'hours'. We weren't very popular on site as you can imagine and left after 2 days.

Thanks for all the replies, I have been looking at them with interest.

I did think of Forest Holidays, but iirc (and please correct me if I'm wrong), Holmsley is the only site with loos but without ponies wandering around (we love the ponies but we wouldn't trust the kids around them until they're a bit older).

I do like Holmsley but I thought it might be a bit unbearable on August Bank Holiday. Maybe I should think again...

Am looking at all the other sites - thanks very much for your suggestions.
