I am staying in a lovely luxury yurt this weekend (morning sickness allowing!).

Most of the stuff we need is provided, bedding, cooking stuff, camp fire, benches and logs to sit on, woof for wood burner.

What do I need to take?
I have:

torches (a good few to light the yurt)
tealights
matches/lighter
picnic blanket
waterproofs
wellies
walking boots
umbrella
kite
phone charge/camera charger (we can charge in emergencies)
books
wetwipes and hand gell
first aid box
sun lotion

what else?

thisisyesterday - oh where did you stay? We stayed in one too last Sept, in the one week of sunshine we had! But I can't remember too much of what we needed, we took EVERYTHING then as we went for a week and never went before!

Are you going to the ones in Devon, at Ottery St Mary? We're going next weekend- it was your thread from before (I think) which made me book it Really excited!

If you are going this weekend then that is where we will be !!!! We should meet up round the fire for a cuppa!

I was going to suggest that a mooncup was a yurt-y sort of thing to take, but then I re-read your post and realised you won't need one

Seriously, am very jealous!

Marshmallows are a must - stick 'em on a twig and toast away.

Pav! You daft mare - DS's b'day is not this bank hol weekend, its the last one in May! If you are not Yurting then too, you and DD are welcome! Party on the Sat..

jimmy - YEY!!!! Thats good, why did I think it was this bank holiday? We would love to come. Just CAT you my address, and DHs mobile.

thisisyesterday - if you book it, give her my name, she is going to owe me commission at this rate .

Smellyeli - how would I clean it out

Adds marshmallows to list - last time we went, DD had toasted marshmallows for the first time, she ate a few too many!!!

Sadly it's the weekend after this one - would have enjoyed a camp fire meet-up!
