Any recommendations near the seaside?

We are planning on going camping this summer with our ds, who will be 9 months. We are going with some friends who will have a 4 month old. As relative camping novices, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We were thinking Cornwall/Devon way. Walks/nice country pubs/seaside/places to get nice food feature quite high on our list of priorities.

Any ideas??

We are thinking about going here we haven't yet been camping with our 18mo and thought this looked like a good idea with little one. For full on camping here is very pretty (but a bit windy)

Try East Anglian coast as is flatter terrain & therefore better for buggies. Campsites around Thorpeness, Sizewell, Dunwich (Suffolk) all very nice areas & lots to do.

We go here [http://www.cottagefarmpark.co.uk/camping_caravans.html cottage farm]. There are walks from the campsite, lots of good pubs to choose from locally, near loads of lovely beaches. The nearest are Crantock and Polly Joke (which is remote and fantastic).

It's a lovely small campsite, baby facilities are separate (you get a key), very clean, really lovely owners (you get a cuppa on arrival when you are putting your tent up) and a curfew around 10.30/11.00. It's kept spotless.

There's no shop but a small one on the next door site that you can use to get the morning papers and milk.

It's not far to drive into Newquay but you are well away from it, not far to drive to Perranporth, St Agnes, Holywell Bay.

We're going back for the 4th year this summer and having described it to you I remember why! We've never had 2 holidays the same there because there is so much to do and so many places to visit within easy reach.
