Camp kitchen and stove

Last year we went camping with another family and used their stove but this year we hope to go on our own so need to invest in a stove, camp kitchen and table/ chairs.
Stove wise i'm stuck between:

double camping gaz with grill and stand

Cobb

or Coleman dual fuel

What would you go for?

(We're a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 5 and
7)

For the table I fancy the Outwell Rupert but that seems to be out of stock everywhere.

Does anyone have one of these. It's the one with built in cup holders on the table top.

Have you got links to these things?

We are a family of 4 - kids aged 3.5 and 10 months and we have a double camping gaz stove - no grill.

I will attempt to do some links.

Hi Jen

We have the same dilema. DH, a previously hardened camper thinks we should get the coleman as it is easier to find petrol, I quite like the idea of the grill for the camping gaz. I also don't think we will be going so far away that we will need petrol to cook! However neither of us really know and we are a bit stuck.
Am watching with interest!

I'm hoping some regular campers will come along and offer us some advice. The Coleman is my favourite at the moment and it doesn't seem to cost more once you've taken into account the gas bottle and regulator.

All of those stoves are fine.We have the camping gaz stove...had it quite a few years now....its absolutely fine.We have a separate griddle that we make a cooked breakfast on that goes over both burners...makes it easier than juggling with two saucepans.
Gas lasts well on it...usually buy it once a year (we go away about 4-5 times a year)

we have this table
which i will rave about to anyone who will listen. The cushioned benches mean you have got extra seating that you can move about. You can take the cushions off and you can use them as surfaces or extra prep areas. It all folds down into a bag which you make by zipping the cushions together (so blardy clever)

That outwell rupert looks ok...but surely the holes mean you are dictated to how you have the place settings? Its just that we use our table for lots of stuff (kids colouring/making etc)plus i can just imaging things falling down the holes etc. Could be annoying.

mine is better ...honest

we have a camp kitchen for our stove. It is rather nice to have something to have your stove on...bit like a cooking station. I wouldn't recommend ours as the shelves are crap and we had to get metal replacements made. But the idea is excellent. There is a review of them in this months camping magazine i believe...might be worth a look.

I can see why you rave about your table Troutpout, that looks fab! A good point about the Outwell one, I hadn't thought of things disappearing down the holes. It's a good price too.

Oh no it's sold out in world of tents and everywhere else is about £20 more expensive.

We bought a table from The Range which has adjustable legs and folds in half for storage - unfortunately they don't have it on their website but it's great. Didn't cost all that much. We have fold up camping chairs and together they are perfectly adequate for eating and relaxing. We used to take one of these ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41iHrE5Tt-L.SL500_AA280.jpg but it took up unecessary space.
Cooking wise we have a small bbq and a seperate double gas hob but I would love to get one of those with the grill - I've tried making toast holding bread over naked flame and it's not easy I can tell you (strokes poorly burnt fingers! )

Trout Pout - we've just bought one of those table sets from Argos after our plastic table and chair set (like Sparkler suggested) fell apart in one year. Some of our other friends have had on like yours too and rate it highly, here's hoping that it lasts longer than a year this time!
