travel cots for camping

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for travel cots for 1 year old camping? We've been using the samsonite pop up cot, but dd1 is too big for that now.
And any other recommendations for keeping her warm at night - sleep suits / sleep bag?
Any for baby carrier and waterproof suits?
Thanks!

An ordinary travel cot wouldn't fit in our tent as the sides were too high and you couldn't get DCs in. When we camped with DD at 10 months we just put her on a mattress on the floor.
I use the same abount of bedding etc as I would use for myself.

When we took DD we took her travel cot which was a long and thin one and fitted in the 'bedroom' it is a mamas and papas one. I found she needed more bedding than us - vest, pjs, fleecy sleepsuit and baby sleeping bag. Fleecy sleepsuit was a good idea but might be a bit tricky to find at the moment.

Sorry realised my last message was not very clear - the reason the cot worked was because it was more long and thin rather than square as lots of them are so we could edge it away from the sides a bit more. I don't know if there is a model no - it is Mamas and Papas and I got it from John Lewis though I'm sure you could get it anywhere. it is quite a distinctive shape. The good thing about them being in cot is that the cold does not come up from the ground underneath them.

It depends on tent an pod dimensions tbh

Vango do baby and toddler sleeping bags, worth a look.

From about 15 months our little girl used a "my first ready bed" as her travel cot wouldn't fit in the car when packing! She's been fine in that ever since, now nearly 3. With warm pj's, fleecy all-in-one and blanket over top, I'm usually next to her so can recover as necessary.
