Camping, pregnancy and sleeping!

We have planned a full summer of camping this year. I am currently 15wks pregnant so would like something half decent to sleep on, what would you recommend? Currently we have therm-a-rest style mats, but I'm not overly comfy on them. When I was pg with DD I had severe SPD so found sleeping on anything horrid, but as we plan to camp up until about 36weeks I need something rather comfy!

Many thanks

what about a good airbed?

you could make it as firm or as soft suited you... many people like coleman comfort so that of 2 people are on 1 airbed the other doenst move when 1 person moves

I found it really useful to have a single airbed. That way I was less likely to disturb dp during my numerous night time pees.

We camped when I was about 35 weeks and I slept on our usual air mattress.
Had been worried but it was the best week's sleep I'd in months. Was almost tempted to set up airbed in living room when we got home

Airbeds are great but remember to have a blanket UNDER the airbed or the air inside can get bladdy cold overnight. My teeth chattered until another camper pointed this one out, now I put one of those silver emergency blankets underneath and I am super toasty.

I'll be doing my first heavily pregnant camping this summer, did a couple of festivals early on last time but will be interested to see how it goes 20weeks plus.

My main worries are 1) how will I fit into a sleeping bag and 2) am I going to drive everyone mad zipping in and out all night long for a wee? Any advice appreciated...

blanket over the sleeping bag helped keep me warm... I did go camping whilst pregnant in December! The bump (and four seasons sleeping bag) kept me lovely and warm. I think Snugpak make additional bits of material to extend sleeping bags. As for the zipping in and out. Just supply whoever's in the tent with ear plugs, and pick a pitch near the loos. I found I actually slept well whilst camping.

Gentle- How will I fit in the sleeping bag... that really hadn't occured to me, lol! I feel a warm toasty duvet being packed along side an old potty!

Thanks for the tips about the blanket as well.
