Recommendations for Portable Bidet (hand held not like a toilet)?

I have been researching portable bidets and there are so many on the market and the ones I found that are recommended for women do not seem to have the best reviews in general.

Has anyone got any recommendations to try or to avoid?

These are some of the lists I found ‑ I have got mind‑boggled looking at them all!

I've wondered about this as well. For the occasional wild camp needs, this would be better than paper IMO.

I was impressed with the research this guy has done ‑ he is also very funny :‑)

There is now an EU supplier ‑ there wasn't when I was researching this last November so I think I will give this one a try:

Will report back on progress!

No but they look interesting. I use Peebols from SheWee. The contents convert urine into an odourless gel so you can seal up the bag and throw it in a rubbish bin. Possibly sometimes easier to dispose of than the contents of a Whizzer?

Anyone tried these for adults?
https://kiddiwhizz.com/collections/adults

I have one. I tried it out at home, but am not very impressed. I've kept it in case of emergency, but never used out.
There's a big soft silicone funnel that you wee into, but it needs to be removed to put the lid on. I's obviously got wee on, so not sure what to do with it.

Then theres a second rigid funnel, which provides stability to the neck of the bottle, and reduces backflow out of the bottle, but for an adult this emptied way too slow, so there was overflow. You can use without the funnel, but need to put it back on in order to seal the lid. (So faffing about with a pot full of wee.)
I think it would be a bit awkward to empty and clean. You need to touch the bits with wee on.
It's fine if you have sink and loo in the same room (like at home) but awkward if cubicle loo and separate sink. (Or no sink, like at a festival).

Do you need something to pee in or something to wash your bits in (which is what a bidet is)?

I use leftover bags from toilet training DD with her pottete. They have absorbant pads in. Just hold one handle in front and one behind tight against the undercarriage. Tie top and put in rubbish.

Obviously no use if you have no privacy.

I have a HappyPo. It's ok but seems a bit limited - everything gets wet which makes cleaning easier, but there's not enough water (or enough 'oomph' from my feeble squeeze) to have any significant effect. Having said that, at home I am used to a full-on electric bidet so nothing portable is ever going to compare to that!

A portable bidet.

I assume that the conversation strayed to portable "urinals" because they are related needs, eg. when wild camping. A portable bidet is more for cleaning up after defecating rather than after urinating.
