Do other air beam tents have punctures as much as mine?

We are regular campers and I've been wanting an air beam tent for years. I bought a Vango Joro 600 XL this summer. On its first outing, one beam turned out to have a slow puncture, and it collapsed after 36 hours. We pumped it up but the hole seemed to be growing as by the end of the long weekend, it needed re-inflating every few hours. The shop has sent me a replacement inner tube. I changed it over, pumped it up, and after five minutes I heard a pop and there was a massive hole at the end of the inner tube. Am I cursed or have other people had this?

Nope. Ours hasn't had any punctures.

We are part way through our fouth "season" with ours (purchased 2020) and no punctures.

My first thought... is there a sharp bit on the tent?

Oh no, what a pain! It's something that's always put me off inflatable tents (although I've had snapped poles a few times which is the traditional tent equivalent I guess).
Was it very hot? I wonder if that has had an impact as the pressure will be greater (our paddle board needs to be lower pressure when in direct hot sun and it says best avoided).

Our Vango 8 had a slow puncture in one beam from the outset. We were sent a replacement which seems to be working ok.

The second tube clearly failed right at the end (an enormous hole) so that wasn't due to a sharp bit. It was a sunny day, but it had only been up 5 minutes.

We have the same tent, it's 6 years old and not had a puncture. We've had to replace a valve on one beam but I think that was my fault as I tried to force the wrong pump into it.

Do you use an electric pump to pump it up?
If not, it might be worth getting one because it's much easier to get the right psi into the beams than with a manual, just in case the second tube was over inflated.

We've had ours (vango) about 8 years - awning including sleeping pods for our camper van

Never had a puncture 🤷‍♀️

We've got a Kampa Airbeam drive away awning and no issues at all. We bought it second hand and have had it for 4 - 5 years. The beams 'twist' if you are not careful which can put stress on them but ours collapsed this year in high winds when we'd taken the van out for the day and once we'd hooked back onto the van rail it was fine.

Since you only bought it this year can you return it? there's obviously a defect in there somewhere.

Outwell, no punctures at all. Just an issue with a valve being stuck open so we could only partially inflate one beam - but our beams are all able to be isolated separately so wasn't an issue as we have 4 and also an air beam down the centre.

Never had one with our outwell air beam. We’ve had it about 3 years. Also never with kampa bream air beam one, which we’ve had about 6 years and has been lent out to people and used a lot more.

I think you've been really unlucky. We've got the older version of this one. We've had it for 7 years and not a puncture yet.
