Which duvet for May half term in caravan?

This is our first May half term trip in our micro caravan. It is a small canvas pop top with only a gas heater that we wouldn't use overnight. And DH would find our mini fan heater too noisy at night. Our first trip was 3 weeks in August last year in the UK (Lake District/Yorkshire) and we were fine with a summer duvet but also brought a lightweight wool blanket and PJs with us which we used over the duvet some nights. Do you think this will be enough for our half term trip to Yorkshire? Or should we bring the winter one, which is much bulkier and will take up lots of space? I get cold easily, but don't want to bring the winter one if it's unnecessary.

Could you bring the lighter one and a couple of hot water bottles in case ? Have a lovely time

@AssertiveGertrude, thanks for your advice. Actually just had a look and the summer duvet plus blanket is about the same amount of bulk as the winter duvet. But gives more flexibility, don't want to be too hot either! I've had a look at the forecast and the nighttime temperatures are not that different to when we were away last August. So I think we'll be fine with the summer one plus blanket.

We've been using our summer duvet in our camper for the last month or so (and been too hot some nights). Summer plus blanket would be fine I would say.

If you can squeeze a fleece blanket in sleeping on one heats you up considerably

Thanks, we have a wool mattress topper in there which does the same. It's bulky but so worth it and comfy to sleep on. We haven't so far often bothered putting the bed away anyway, we just eat outside on our chairs or on a tray on the bed. Our little caravan is tiny!

We camped in frost in March. Take sleeping bags, we have below zero rated ones. Alternatively duvet and a couple of blankets

Thanks, think we will go for the duvet and blankets. We like to snuggle up together so sleeping bags are not really for us! You are brave camping in frost.

We were in campervan in Scotland last week and I took extra fleece blankets just in case. Only needed them one night. Bed socks are your friend, warm feet, warm body!

Update. We're here, we're lovely and warm. Brought winter duvet and it's fine, haven't used blankets we brought. Summer duvet with blankets would have been fine too I think. Did bring PJs and alpaca bed socks, which I'm enjoying wearing. No hot water bottle needed.
