Has anyone been before?

Considering taking my daughter next year, we live quite close so don't want to camp really.

Can I buy the camping weekend tickets and come and go as I please?

Thank you :)

You probably can but the nights are late and it's a bit of a trek to the car park. There are glamping options, or you could look at hiring a camper van? I get camping isn't for everyone but I think you'd miss out on some of the things that make it wonderful if you don't stay over the weekend.

When I was a single mum, I took my DS to Camp B and other festivals for quite a few years from the age of 5. We always had a wonderful time. Smile

I agree with PP. Late nights and queues of traffic to get in.

Okay, I'll get a tent!
Thanks for your info!
I looked at glamping, is the price her tent or per person?

I think it's per tent. You can also get a pre-pitched tent if you don't want to have to put it up yourself, which is probably cheaper than glamping.

We live locally and just went for the Saturday this year (day ticket). Might not be what you had in mind at all but suited us well with a toddler.

I have been a few times I rolled my tickets over for next year as I would not have risked it this year.
Under normal circumstances its great for kids. I've always gone in my motorhome and had to endure " the hill of death" I've had my own shower and toilet. I would not pay the glamping prices not out of being tight but would not rely on someone else setting up for me as I know this year many were disappointed. I would hire a motorhome and pack it with everything you need for a weekend. I've never left the festival but I believe you are allowed to.

I've been loads over the years, some camping, some staying at home (20 minutes away). If you don't want to camp you can get day tickets but they don't release these until nearer the time. I've never queued doing this and the car park is normally just past the tents. Bring a 3 wheeled pushchair to make your life a LOT easier though!
