My cousin wasn't able to have her wedding due to covid and as part of their new mini celebrations bought a bell tent which we can now borrow. But we know nothing about camping!

How would you feel about one of these woodburning stoves - it makes me feel nervous but I also love being warm and cosy!

Our large family are planning to pass the tent around over the next few years as no one really has holidays booked so if we go ahead it will get a lot of use.

Stoves are really lovely in Bell Tents they create a wonderful atmosphere and really heat the large space inside Bell Tents.

However they make me very nervous, not so much as a fire hazard more as a carbon monoxide risk. I just don't think I could sleep easy with one in there whilst the children slept. I appreciate the chances of anything going wrong are low but the outcome wouldn't be worth considering.

Instead we have outdoor campfires and wrap up very warm inside at night. Bell tents do get cold though even in the summer.

Have you looked at something like a Rocket Stove? I've not used one but they seem quite fun.

I'd be interested to know if anyone does use bell tent stoves with kids in the tent, fully appreciate that I might have overthought this all and I'm being daft.

Anything with a Naked Flame and you should use it outside not in a tent but people use stoves and Carbon monoxide alarms in side, I would ask the stove manufacturer
