We're thinking of camping in North Norfolk this year but don't have c&c club membership.

Which family friendly ones (kids 7 - 10) with electric hook up would you recommend?

Am I best off getting c&c club membership? A little wary after booking a campsite that had a lovely website where the pitches turned out to be VERY slopey and bald of grass.

We enjoyed Manor Farm. No clubhouse or pool but that suited us.

We've been to Kelling Heath a few times and really enjoyed it there. No c & c membership needed.

These both look lovely (and around half the price of a holiday park which shall remain nameless), thank you very much!

off season i think the sheep graze the field, so by spring its lush and lovely! nice and flat. and you can have a campfire. theres a resident little owl , been there a while. plus usual pheasants, tawneys etc around and about. castle 15 min walk away. sheringhams 15 mins in the car.

kelling Heath has an outstanding reputation and thought of as the 'posh' one in that area.
It's certainly very picturesque, lots of things to do within close driving vicinity and a great site.

Another vote for Kelling Heath

Swallow Tails is one of our favourites. Raised fire pits are allowed and there are ‘Friday and WednesdayPizza Nights’ during the May half term and summerholidays where you can make your own pizza and watch it cook in one of the outdoor pizza ovens. They also run an optional art and nature activity programme for kids, families and adults in the grounds of Holt Hall. There are woodlands to explore, den building areas, a kids playground and football pitch, pond dipping platform and communal campfire.
Deer’s Glade is also lovely. There’s a small on-site shop, play area, paddock with goats, and a sheep, woodland walks and the shower blocks are excellent.

We have had some lovely holidays at Kelling Heath. Getting the steam train to Sherringham from the halt at Kelling is brilliant.

Sandringham site is really nice - they have a non members rate.
Kids could collect buckets of pine cones and exchange for sweets - kept mine entertained for ages!
Manor farm is lovely. Nice beaches and NT place nearby.
Also the site next door to kellingheath.
