Hi, I know itโ€™s not proper camping ๐Ÿ™ˆ but we are glamping for a few nights this week and wondering if anyone has any tips/essential items we need to take. Thanks

Many glamping sites are close to or have onsite farm shops to buy fresh homemade bread, cakes, eggs, meat etc. These will rarely take card payments, so take a little extra cash with you.
Always take a few empty carrier bags with you, you never know when you need some extra bags for rubbish, dirty laundry etc.
Take slippers, thick socks or flip flops with you to wear inside your tent.
Headlamps, lamps and torches and spare batteries. Iโ€™d recommend including a wind up lantern โ€“ as they ensure the flat battery situation will not occur.
Plastic tubs are usefulfor leftovers. I save the leftover baked potatoes from the night before and mix them with eggs and bacon in the morning for a Spanish omelette โ€“ my kids love it.
I like to freeze my meat, bacon etc for day 2 & 3 โ€“ it acts like an ice block in the cool box as it defrosts, and is fresh and ready to eat a day or two after arriving.
You can get some decent wine in boxes nowadays. Using these helps the pack-up as thereโ€™ll be no empty bottles to carry or break.

wooly hats. they are a godsend to wear at night, when the woodburner has likely burned out before dawn
and a torch / headlight

Wellies.

It may not be raining but the grass will be very wet in the mornings.
